Only horses and ponies registered with the ER & the HLDA may compete in HLDA shows.

If more than one test, or more than one section of any kind is held for a level, then the show holder may determine
the Champion and Reserve Champion of the level.

If the Musical Kur classes are offered, competitors in that class must provide a musical selection in the format of
"Piece," Artist. Repertoire MUST NOT contain any lyrics.

Horses may enter no more than four tests per day.

Horses may enter two consecutive levels.

Riders may ride no more than two horses per level.

Riders must be sixteen years old by January 1st, 2008 to ride or handle stallions.

RIDER AGES

Junior: 14 to 18 years old

Pony: 12 to 16 years old

Child: 12 to 14 years old

Young: 16 to 21 years old

Senior: 18 years old and older
