The Hay!Land Dressage Association was begun, based heavily on the guidance provided by the USDF and the FEI, to promote the ancient equestrian sport of Dressage, and to provide the game with a standard for showing, and a focus for breeding. Today we are here to promote Classical Riding, competitive Dressage, but also Dressage as a means of schooling and developing horses of all breeds and all disciplines.

With a standardized classlist to be used in part or whole, the owners of Dressage Horses and the breeders of Dressage Horses can sharpen their goals, and have a better means of communication. With shows to be more frequent, the HLDA can now have competitive standings, and consolidate the strength behind Dressage.
